In the counseling, Internet usage habits and conflicts with parents were examined. The children were trained for good habits of using the Internet. As a result, Internet usage was reduced and it was found that dealing with emotion was a very important factor. It was also found that proper attention and cooperation of parents are crucial for changes in the children. The limitation of this study is that fundamental desires and emotions leading to Internet overuse were not fully examined.
